What is Games Outsourcer?

Games Outsourcer is designed to help games development studios find and select companies (“Outsourcers”) to whom specific areas of work in the games development process may be outsourced. The site lists Outsourcer companies from around the world and details features about these companies that will be helpful in deciding which Outsourcers are appropriate candidates for outsourcing contracts. The information provided has been gathered from the Outsourcers themselves, and from TIGA’s 90+ members from the UK and European independent games development community.

Games Outsourcer is free to use, but some sections of the service are available to TIGA members only. Outsourcers may advertise their services to users of the service.

Games Outsourcer is a joint venture between TIGA, the independent games developers association, and Games Investor Consulting Ltd.

TIGA

TIGA, the independent games developers association, represents over 90 games companies in the UK and further afield. TIGA's mission is to benefit the business, commercial and creative interests of its members by fostering a better commercial environment for independent games development companies. TIGA does this in three ways by: improving communications and dialogue with key clients, the publishers; working with investors and financial organisations to encourage investment into independent development, and by representing the sector to government, and lobbying to secure advantages for the sector.

GIC

Games Investor Consulting Ltd (GIC) provides a range of consulting services to the games and finance industries. Our consulting expertise can be broadly split into two core areas:
